Hotspot Investments UK specialises in helping early-stage companies prepare for and source growth capital. We advise on capital requirements, investment messaging, strategy and growth planning to help clients maximise their chances of sourcing investment, whatever the stage of growth, Seed, Early Growth, Series-A or beyond.

We work backwards with management teams from their ultimate plans for exit or strategic investment, helping put in place the strategic plan and materials necessary to accomplish those aims, whether that turns out to be PE or secondary VC investment, trade sale or IPO (Aquis, AIM or Main Market, other exchanges).

We focus on companies that are post-commercial revenue, which is more of a sweet spot for our network, however we look at each opportunity as its own special situation and offer advice and introductions from an early stage, understanding that generating value from growth companies requires longer time horizons.
We draw in from an extensive network of contacts and investors ranging from HNW individuals and Family Offices, VC funds and VCTs (both equity and debt), Private Equity firms and Investment Banks and aim to find the right investors for both the stage of growth, and also to try and ensure that the investors can where possible bring more than just capital to the relationship.

The “sweet spot” is funding requirements between £2.5m-£25m, although we have worked on both smaller and larger deals.

We are focused on technology companies, with significant expertise and experience in cleantech, material science and deeptech.
